Tuna and Egg Salad with Salsa Verde
Ingredients (for 2 people):
- 1 crisp lettuce (or mixed salad)
- 1 can of quality tuna (in oil or natural, drained)
- 2 hard boiled eggs
- fresh cherry tomatoes (8-10, cut in half)
- 1 tablespoon capers
- black or green olives to taste
- toasted bread croutons (optional, for a crunchy touch)
- 2 tablespoons of Lina Lina green sauce flavors and delights
- extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
- Cook the eggs for about 9-10 minutes in boiling water, then cool them under running water, shell them and cut them into wedges
- wash and dry the lettuce, then place it in a large bowl
- add the ingredients: combine the drained tuna, the cherry tomatoes, the capers and the olives
- mix Lina's green sauce with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of pepper
- Pour the dressing over the salad and mix gently to distribute the flavor well.
- add the hard boiled eggs and, if you like, some croutons for a crunchy touch.
