Our family has been working with truffles in the hills of Savigno for over thirty years. We search for them in the woods, bring them to the kitchen, and use them in our traditional family recipes.
During the experience, you won't witness a staged performance for tourists: you'll enter the real rhythm of the hunt, meet the dogs, hear stories and curiosities, and discover why every season, every terrain, and every truffle is different.

For a first encounter
Basic Truffle Hunting Experience
A walk in nature to get to know the truffle hunter's work up close and observe the dogs during the hunt.
Duration: approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
The experience includes:
- Walk in the truffle grounds with an expert truffle hunter
- Truffle hunting demonstration with dogs
- History, curiosities, and stories about truffles
- Special gift for each participant

200 € total for groups of 1 to 6 people
30 € per person for groups of at least 7 participants
To continue with a tasting
Truffle Hunt with Tasting
After the walk, the story continues at the table with truffle specialties, typical local products, and a glass of wine to match.

Where does the experience take place?
Activities take place in and around Savigno, in the hills of the Bolognese Apennines. The meeting point is communicated upon confirmation.
When can you participate?
Experiences are organized based on the truffle season, ground conditions, and the truffle hunter's availability. For this reason, it is always necessary to check the date in advance.
Is the experience suitable for children?
Yes, truffle hunting can also be enjoyed by families. Please inform us of the children's ages, so we can evaluate the most suitable route and pace together.
How should one dress?
We recommend comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for walking on trails and natural terrain. In case of rain or wet ground, waterproof shoes may be useful.
Is it possible to participate with allergies or dietary needs?
Yes. When making your request, please inform us of any allergies, intolerances, or specific dietary requirements. We will check what adaptations are possible.
In what languages is it conducted?
We can also accommodate international guests. When making your request, please indicate the group's language, so we can organize the experience in the most suitable way.
What happens in case of bad weather?
The hunt takes place outdoors. In case of unsuitable weather conditions, we will evaluate a new date or a possible alternative together.
