1. Truffle hunting in the woods with our trained Lagotto Romagnolo dogs

You will walk through the hills of Savigno with our trained Lagotto Romagnolo dogs and an expert guide. You will learn how truffle grows, what conditions it needs, how the dogs are trained to find it — and with a little luck, you will be there for the moment of discovery.

2. Cooking class: fresh pasta by hand, dressed with truffle

In the kitchen, you will learn the art of Bolognese fresh pasta — the dough, the rolling pin, your hands in the flour — the way it has been passed down for generations in Emilia-Romagna. Once the pasta is ready, you will dress it with truffle: white or black depending on the season, used simply so nothing covers its extraordinary fragrance.

3. Truffle lunch at the table

The day ends where all good things end in Italy — at the table. A lunch built around truffle, with dishes prepared during the cooking class alongside other local specialities. A meal that tastes like the place it comes from.

The white truffle of Savigno — the most prized variety in Italy — is found between October and December. Black truffle, equally delicious and more versatile in cooking, is available across a much longer season.
