Orange & Truffle Mocktail (non-alcoholic aperitif with orange juice and truffle)

a hand squeezes half an orange over a tall, clear glass already almost full of orange juice. An orange slice is inserted on the rim of the glass. On the table where the glass is resting, there are scattered orange slices and the other half of the orange. Also scattered on the table are some sprigs of orange leaves.

Ingredients (for 2 glasses)

- 200 ml fresh orange juice (preferably freshly squeezed)

- 100 ml cold tonic water (or soda, for a lighter drink)

- 1 teaspoon of artisan wildflower honey Lina sapori e Delizie (optional, if the orange is very acidic)

- 1 teaspoon of pearls with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena and white truffle Lina sapori e Delizie (or a few drops of white truffle sauce Lina sapori e Delizie diluted in cold water)

ice cubes

- organic orange peel for decoration

- sprigs of fresh rosemary

Preparation

  1. Fill the glasses with 2-3 ice cubes.
  2. Pour in the cold orange juice.
  3. Add the tonic water for a sparkling note.
  4. Sweeten with a drizzle of honey if necessary.
  5. Finish with 1 teaspoon of truffle balsamic vinegar pearls: they will slowly sink, creating a spectacular effect and releasing their aroma.
  6. Decorate with a sprig of rosemary and an orange peel spiral.

Why it works

- Orange provides freshness and vitamins.

- The truffle balsamic pearls transform a simple drink into a gourmet aperitif.

- It's visually striking: the contrast between the golden juice and the dark pearls immediately catches the eye.

👉 "Softer chic" variation: use white foam or ginger ale instead of tonic.
